TheraBand® Hand Exercisers are specially formulated exercisers provided in a progressive sequence of five translucent colors and in two sizes. They're used for hand, finger and forearm strengthening, as well as hot and cold therapy.
The softer yellow and red models fill the gap between putty and spring devices and they're not as messy as putty. Progressive resistance in different levels of compression allow each exercise to be geared to the patient. Use the standard size hand exerciser for smaller hands and the extra large size for larger hands or for people who have limited hand mobility. Place a Hand Exerciser into the microwave or refrigerator for hot or cold use.
The TheraBand® Progressive Hand Trainer assists patients recovering from hand or wrist surgery and helps improve hand, finger and thumb strength and mobility during hand rehabilitation. It provides the lightest resistance sequences available for immediate post-surgical rehabilitation, in six levels of resistance.
Used by occupational and physical therapists, including certified hand therapists, the Progressive Hand Trainer was designed to facilitate progressive extension exercises of the hand and wrist which are more difficult to do with conventional therapy putty. The Progressive Hand Trainer also allows therapists to perform the functional finger exercises against progressive elastic resistance, including pinching, opposition and prehension.
The Progressive Hand Trainer is composed of a pair of high impact, 10" and 10.5" diameter molded rings that lock a fitted, circular TheraBand exercise sheet in place when pressed together. The Hand Trainer's elastic sheets are supplied in the same colors and resistances as TheraBand exercise bands, from tan (extra light) to black (extra heavy). With more than 60 access holes, the elastic sheets provide numerous strength training and range of motion exercises, including progressive extension exercises of the hand and wrist. Product Information Each Intro Kit contains an instruction guide that demonstrates proper exercises for a variety of applications, one set of rings and one each of the tan, yellow, red, green, blue, and black sheets. Refill sheets are supplied in sets of 6 sheets per individual color/level of resistance.

TheraBand® Stability Trainers are oval-shaped, color-coded pads, supplied in three densities to provide a progressive system of balance training.
The green (firm) TheraBand Stability Trainer is a closed cell foam pad with an anti-slip ridged surface and oval foot fitting shape. The foam pad is an effective aid for balance training in older adults, rehabilitation of lower extremities, and for sports performance enhancement.
Made of durable PVC, the extra soft Stability Trainer's heavy gauge side walls resist the tendency to roll the ankle during exercise. Additionally, it offers two options for use: one surface with rounded points providing tactile inputs for sensorimotor training; and the opposite surface with an anti-skid bars that resist slipping. This soft Stability Trainer can be used by healthcare professionals for balance and proprioception training for patients who have suffered ankle or knee injuries, core strength and stability training, ankle range of motion and flexibility training and sensorimotor training. Physical therapists, occupational therapists, athletic trainers, chiropractors, and personal trainers will all find this an invaluable addition to their activity programs.
Coupled with the firm (green) foam stability trainers, TheraBand balance products offer an integrated, progressive system of instability and challenge, similar to other TheraBand products in color progression and activity levels.
